Inspired by their favorite couple, Monica and Chandler from “Friends,” Chahat planned an intimate and heartfelt proposal.
As Gauri walked through the door after a long day at the office, she was greeted with a sea of balloons and the soft glow of candlelight. There, on one knee, was Chahat, ready to ask the most important question of his life. The mix of excitement, nervousness, and pure joy was palpable as Gauri said “yes” to beginning their adventure together. This proposal was a beautiful testament to their love and shared dreams.

Chahat and Gauri’s journey began long before that magical proposal. Their story started back in 1st grade when they were dance partners. Although they weren’t close friends during their school days, fate had other plans. Years later, they reconnected on Facebook while living in different countries—Chahat in India and Gauri in Singapore.
Despite the distance, their connection grew stronger with each passing day. They chatted for hours, sharing dreams and aspirations. In 2016, they decided to give long-distance love a chance. Their bond endured the miles and challenges, and in 2019, Chahat made the big move to Canada. By 2022, they found their home in Calgary, and most importantly, they found home in each other.
