From the start, Megan and Cole dreamed of a ceremony that was relaxed, fun, and informal — the kind where laughter mixes with tears, and joy is shared with the ones who matter most. Their wedding was not just a union of two best friends, but also a celebration of family — Megan’s parents, John and Tracy, gave her away, and even the couple’s fur babies stood proudly at their side.
Mr. and Mrs. Rhodes were introduced to the world beneath blue skies and surrounded by towering mountain peaks. Every moment reflected who they are as a couple — warm, genuine, and deeply connected. Their ceremony had all the tears (happy ones, of course), all the laughs, and none of the fuss.
💍 Their proposal story?
It’s the kind of love story only the prairies could write. After buying their acreage in April 2024, Megan was playfully pestering Cole for a proposal. She didn’t know he’d already asked her dad for his blessing and had a ring tucked away during their trip to Cole’s family farm in Manitoba. After a day helping the cousins with their 4H cows, the two strolled into a perfect prairie sunset. Megan joked, “So what do you want to do now?” — and with tears in his eyes, Cole dropped to one knee and asked her to be his wife. Her reply? “I’m in rubber boots!” 💕

❤️ How they met:
Cole moved to Megan’s town of Kindersley for work, and through mutual friends, they became close. What began as friendship grew over six years into a bond built on adventure, challenges, and unwavering support. Megan says Cole is her safe place, her biggest laugh, and her best friend. Cole loves Megan’s cheerful energy and her ability to brighten up any space with her smile and laugh.
