Mae and Kenneth’s journey began when their sisters, who were mutual friends, introduced them at a Ribfest in Scarborough. Kenneth, always thoughtful, wanted to show Mae the best of Toronto when she was new to Canada. From that day forward, their bond grew deeper with each shared adventure.
After nearly two years of dating, Kenneth planned a proposal straight out of a Korean drama. Inspired by the series Goblin, he recreated a scene overlooking the Fairmont Château Frontenac in Old Quebec. With the help of Mae’s sister, a four-day road trip was arranged. Despite the heavy rain that nearly spoiled his plans, Kenneth seized a clear morning to get down on one knee. Mae had no idea it was coming—her joyful tears and overwhelmed “yes” sealed the start of their forever.
Three years later, they brought that same joy and surprise to the Canadian Rockies, celebrating not just their vows but also their journey of love, patience, and shared dreams.
